ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Yuriana, a web developer with a particular interest in frontend development and UI/UX design. I enjoy that point where an idea stops being just a design and starts becoming a real experience.


I like thinking about how an interface should look, feel and work — from visual hierarchy, typography, color and user flows to the moment those ideas become responsive, functional code. My experience has also given me an understanding of backend services and databases, allowing me to design interfaces with both appearance and functionality in mind.

Travel Expense Management System


A web-based platform designed to digitalize and streamline the company's travel expense process, from travel requests and approvals to expense reporting and financial settlement.


I participated throughout the product development process, including requirements analysis, user flow definition, UI/UX design and prototyping in Figma, frontend development and integration with backend services and databases.


Library Check-In Automation Platform


A web-based platform designed to automate library check-ins by scanning student credentials from Mindbox to retrieve their academic information, then recording the date, time and selected service in structured Excel reports.


I independently designed and developed the complete solution, from the interface and QR-based workflow to browser automation, data extraction and report generation.

RESEARCH INTERNSHIP · 2024

An Escape to the Past: Immersive Multi-User Narratives of Notable Women on STEAM


A multiplayer VR escape room that blends storytelling, education and interactive design. Focused on Ada Lovelace, the experience takes players through themed rooms filled with puzzles inspired by her life and legacy.


The project combined historical research, conceptual design, Unity development and multiplayer integration using C#. It was developed in collaboration with Colombian researchers as part of the XXIX Delfín Summer Program.


After completing the project, I presented our research and development process at the International Research Congress of the XXIX Delfín Program, held from August 28 to 31, 2024.


As a recognized speaker, I shared our research findings, design process and technical challenges with an international audience, strengthening my skills in public speaking, academic communication, and intercultural collaboration.
